Happy Easter everyone! Last night I went and shot the Soul Asylum and Bruise Violet show at First Ave. It was very fun seeing Soul Asylum for the 9th time, and shooting them for the first time. Bruise Violet rocked last night, their 40 minute set was energy packed and very fun! Can't wait to see them again.
Today was my last day of my short stay in Duluth so I took a little trip about 30mins north of Duluth to the abandoned Clover Valley School. This place was wide open great for photos. I thought the snow and ice might hold me back from getting around but it was perfect conditions! The fresh, white, snow also created some nice contrast with the colorful graffiti inside. And the ice made for some really nice reflections on the floor.
Up to Duluth for a night! I stayed a long Canal Park and got some shots at night of the bridge and all the ice floating a long.
Today I went out and shot near another storm drain along the Mississippi and the colors are amazing in the long drain. It was a nice balance between the hectic graffiti and the serene river.
